Research@concordia at the 2010 Humanities & Social Sciences Congress
2010

Over 8 days delegates from Canada and around the world gathered at Concordia University in Montréal for the Humanities and Social Sciences Congress 2010 to share ideas, explore new research areas and advance knowledge in a rich spectrum of humanities and social sciences disciplines.

The media production team Lab six and a half participated in the setting up of 'espace recherche', which consisted of a series of installations on 3 floors of Concordia's MB building:

  • Tickertext allowed people to input their texts that were then broadcast in the MB ticker.
  • Thinkbox showcased several interactive projects and talks.
  • And the Clouddeck was the main space where the first prototype of the research@concordia project was presented.
