The fourth edition of the President's Conference Series was presented in association with the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ). That year marked the start of a five-year collaboration and partnership of Concordia University with the Bibliothèque, titled The City is the World: Montreal Through the Eyes of Concordia.

The media production team lab six and a half participated in the setting up of the exhibition which showcased interactive multimedia installations from different artists and included the recherche-création @ concordia project, which is an experiment in new ways to represent researchers-creators at Concordia University.
